The Empire State Building is a 102-story skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan,New York City, at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. It has a roof height of 1,250 feet (381 meters), and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 1,454 ft (443.2 m) high.Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, theEmpire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for 40 years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in 1972. Following the September 11 attacks in 2001, the Empire State Building was again the tallest building in New York (although it was no longer the tallest in the US or the world), until One World Trade Center reached a greater height on April 30, 2012. The Empire State Building is currently the third-tallest completed skyscraper in  the United States(after the Willis Tower and Trump International Hotel and Tower, both in Chicago), and the23rd-tallest in the world (the tallest now is Burj Khalifa, located in Dubai). It is also thefourth-tallest freestanding structure  in the Americas.
The Empire State Building is generally thought of as an American cultural icon.

The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in the middle of New York Harbor, in Manhattan, New York CityThe Statue of Liberty is 46,5 meters (151ft) tall and together with the pedestal it reaches a height of 93 meters (305ft). You can take the staircase inside the statue and walk all the way up the 354 steps to the crown from where you have a nice view over New York City.It is given as a token to the  USA from France.

The Palm Islands are an artificial archipelago (islands) in DubaiUnited Arab Emirates(UAE), off the coast in the Persian Gulf. Major commercial and residential infrastructure will be constructed by Nakheel Properties, a property developer in the UAE. The Belgian andDutch dredging and marine contractors Jan De Nul and Van Oord, some of the world's leading specialists in land reclamation, were hired to complete construction. The islands are the Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira.
Each settlement will be in the shape of a palm tree, topped with a crescent. The settlements will have a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centres. The Palm Islands will add 520 kilometres of beaches to the city of Dubai.
The first two islands will comprise approximately 100,000 cubic metres (3,500,000 cu ft) of rock and sand. The Palm Deira will be composed of approximately one billion cubic meters of rock and sand. All materials will be quarried in The UAE. Among the three islands, there will be over 100 luxury hotels, exclusive residential beach-side villas and apartments, marinas, water theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls, sports facilities and health spas.
Two other artificial archipelagos, The World and The Universe, are located between the Palm Islands.
